Today, António Barros started as a new doctoral student in our research group.
António Barros
António Barros, originally from Portugal, will be working on time, frequency, and phase synchronization in cell-free multi-antenna wireless systems, which is a core technology of 6G. His work will focus on the development of novel over-the-air time and frequency synchronization algorithms designed to meet stringent performance requirements. This research aims to establish the foundation for decentralized beamforming as well as precise on-device indoor localization. António holds a Master’s degree from the University of Porto, Portugal.
