Ms. Croes Master's Thesis entitled "The VLSI Design of an Asynchronous LDPC Decoder" focuses on exploring the benefits of an asynchronous design for LDPC decoding. In this thesis, she developed a simulator that predicts the error-rate performance and convergence of an asynchronous decoder and implemented the decoder using the open source ACT (Asynchronous Circuit Toolkit) develop by Prof. Rajit Manohar from Yale University. Laura Croes joined the IIP Group in March 2023 and will start working in November 2023 at external page TNO as a Scientist Innovator.
