Jonas Roth demonstrating the +-synth at IEEE ISCAS
Ph.D. student Jonas Roth together with M.Sc. student Domenic Keller won the Best Live Demo award at this years IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS). Jonas and Domenic demonstrated the +-synth, an aliasing-free hybrid digital-analog music synthesizer. The instrument was mainly developed as part of Jonas Roth's M.Sc. Thesis and Domenic Keller's B.Sc. Thesis under the supervision of Dr. Oscar Castañeda and Prof. Christoph Studer. The list of awards at IEEE ISCAS 2023 can be found external page here.
