Mr. Roth’s Master’s Thesis entitled “Implementation of a Hybrid Digital-Analog Music Synthesizer” proposes an aliasing-free oscillator chip, the Big Fourier oscillator (BFO), which was developed in collaboration with Domenic Keller, and describes an implementation of a complete monophonic music synthesizer featuring the BFO. Jonas Roth joined the IIP group in February 2022 and will continue working on the synthesizer project as a Research Assistant.
