Paper on CSI-Based Multi-Antenna and Multi-Point Indoor Positioning published in the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications!
Congratulations to Emre Gönültaş for the acceptance of his paper in the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.
The paper "CSI-Based Multi-Antenna and Multi-Point Indoor Positioning Using Probability Fusion" proposes a novel indoor positioning pipeline for wireless LAN MIMO-OFDM systems, which processes uplink channel state information (CSI) measurements at one or more access points (APs). We provide experimental results with real-world indoor measurements under line-of-sight (LoS) and non-LoS propagation conditions. Our results show that centimeter-level accuracy is possible indoors under line-of-sight (LoS) as well as non-LoS propagation conditions. The paper has been co-authored with Eric Lei, Jack Langerman, Howard Huang, and Prof. Christoph Studer and appeared as an early-access version in the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications.
