The CAEZ datasets ("Dataset") are made available under the terms of this license. By accessing or using the Dataset, you agree to the following conditions. You understand that you use the Dataset entirely at your own risk.

1. Permitted Uses

You are granted a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, revocable license to:

Use the Dataset for any purpose, including commercial and non-commercial research, development, and analysis.
Modify, process, and create derivative works based on the Dataset.
Publish results, models, analyses, or derivative works derived from the Dataset.

2. Attribution

If you use the Dataset or any derivative work in academic, commercial, or public output, you must:

Cite the Dataset as specified in the provided citation rules.
Acknowledge the origin of the Dataset in any publication, presentation, or product.

3. Redistribution Restriction

You may NOT, under any circumstances:

Redistribute the Dataset, in whole or in part.
Host the Dataset on public servers, mirrors, repositories, archives, or cloud storage.
Include the Dataset or any subset of it in another dataset release, software package, or product.
Share the Dataset privately with third parties.

If another person or organization wishes to use the Dataset, you must direct them to the official download source designated by the copyright holder.

4. No Endorsement

Use of the Dataset does not imply endorsement by the Dataset creators, IIP Group, ETH Zurich, or any affiliated institution.

5. No Warranty and No Liability

The Dataset is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The copyright holder, IIP Group, ETH Zurich, assume no responsibility and accept no liability for any damages, losses, claims, or consequences arising from the use of the Dataset.
This includes, but is not limited to, personal injury, financial loss, business interruption, data loss, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
You agree that you use the Dataset entirely at your own risk.

6. Termination

Any breach of this license immediately terminates your rights to use the Dataset. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the Dataset in your possession.

7. Governing Law

This license is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, with Zurich as the place of jurisdiction.
